Player Values

Can someone please explain the player value drop when they dont play games?

No teams played last night yet some players lost up to 40k and some lost 0k??

Hardly fair considering L Ball went up 60k the night before then will have all of it removed (and be worth less) by the time he plays next!!!!!!!!

Hello K SwIsh,

The player prices are updated based on several factors:
1) Number of teams owning that player. The more teams that have the player, the more the player price grows (however this is only a very small part of the price)
2) Global performance
3) Performance last N days.
4) Schedule next 7 days (but there are differences here, depending on the player having a b2b, a two/three days in a row without games, etc).

Basically, if the player has few games in the following week, or some big gap (two, three days) without games, the price will tend to be decreased by schedule (though the performance factor has much more weight than the schedule). In the case a player did not play, the performance factor will not be taken account, just ownership and schedule.

In the case you just mentioned, Lakers are having a 4 days gap without games. That is a bad schedule. You should try to get your trades used in a way that you do not have players with gaps that big (more than a 2 days gap might impact considerably on your team). Is just an opinion, but I think you might do that with low-cost players (1-3Million).

All the best.
