My first idea was - some popular players in the community, failed to finish first game so many teams was just abandoned:
Teodosic - 67 (obviously clear steal, especially for the European managers but ruined with early injury)
Khawi Leonard - 62
Gordon Hayward - 32.
But to my surprise that is not the main case as there is total of 1101 team (331 invalid with 0 points) in full season competition and 293 (111 invalid with 0 points) teams in 1st half competition.
Total of 1394 teams and 442 invalid teams.
There is also additional 600 teams with lower than 2500 points and available 12-15 trades which would mean they are not playing the game as their roster is unchanged.
That would mean that I am currently number 1 among just around 300 teams to beat. But those that remain would be hard competition.
So I just guess that delay of few days also influenced some people to leave the rosters but probably this ratio is the same with other similar games as people create teams just to see the format, community activity, GUI or whatever triggers their attention. For me, I could not find any similar game of this format which was very popular at the beginning of the long history of Fantasy Sport games...
