I have Embiid as my FREE position (The position you can select anyone) and Anthony Davis as my C.

I wanna swap the two and trade Davis out of my team but whenever i select the option of making Davis the "Free", nothing happens.

I don't want to waste my trades to solve this as it should be allowed to be done by the game.

It is possible to do it but it works differently. You need to have the destination position empty to do the change. So, first sell Davis, then you will be able to change Embiid position to C. Then you will be able to buy a player for your Free position.
