Hello all,

This is a very sad day.

After more than a decade together, it is time to announce the closure of this website, which has been up since 2012 (though I had been coding on my own for almost two years before that).

Throughout these years, I’ve grown, learned, and shared unforgettable moments with each of you. However, the time has come for me to say goodbye.

From the very beginning, I have worked with passion and dedication to prepare and mantain the game up and running. This site was not just a site, but a community of people sharing a common passion for basketball. I have had the opportunity to talk to some of you particularly and I have to say it was really nice to meet you. There were some cases of some people, even considering the game was free, sending me really nasty mails too, though . But well, these things happen.

I worked all of these years out of just my desire to offer a free site for playing basketball fantasy. But unfortunately, it has not been free for me and I had to pay the hosting all these years and work on my free time to solve any problems, because apart from my own mistakes on the site, I had to deal with updates on Facebook, Twitter, forum software and even machines upgrades.

The hosting costs keep going up, and my free time going down, so I couldn't just keep up with it. Even with some contributions some of you nicely made (thanks a lot for that), this was getting too difficult, and I did not want a site were things are just not getting done and get any of you frustrated.

I wanted to say sorry for any errors, or any unanswered mails, or delays fixing any bug. I just tried to do my best, but some times it might haven't been enough.

Finally, I would like to say thank you to all of you that have played and used this site, and make me smile or nicely giving me notice with some problems on the site. I do not want to give any specific names, but with some of you I have had even started a more personal relationship which I would like to keep. Anyway, any of you are free to send me some "hi" mail some time, if you like.

I hope you find another place to play and I really wish you all the best and I just encourage you to keep enjoying life and basketball.
