Hey guys I can only seem to find links to creating a standard league? How do I get to the custom league format where I can change the amount of players in each team and the trades etc?

The game used to have that option some time ago, but it was not something that many people used. And it prevented the system to have proper global standings.
That was the main reason that this game mode was removed at the time. This lets you have your own local competition in your private/public league, and an overall competition with all the rest of users in other leagues.
