The Wizards announced the signing of free agent Ty Lawson, a point guard who had previously attracted the team’s attention as he played in the Chinese Basketball Association this season. Lawson, 30, will be eligible for Washington’s playoff run that begins Saturday in Toronto against the top-seeded Raptors.

Dear Admin,

Kindly arrange to undo the recent changes that I was trying to make yesterday as I got an error while making the undo myself and my roster remained incomplete.

Therefore, I got no points from my players who had games tonight.

Please help urgently as I need to do my trade for the day before the games start.

I mean 🤷🏾‍♂️wtf!!!Maybe somebody that’s actaully seen Denver’s games can shed some light, but Jokic’s numbers have gone into the 🚽 since Millsap return. His schedule this week looks great 👍🏾so that’s why I’m torn. At 9 million plus, what the fuck I’m I supposed to do with 4 pts, 9 boards, and 5 assists (03/06)🤦🏾‍♂️?!?

Russell Westbrook is making history adding more triple-doubles this year to his stats. The last one came against the Spurs, where he got 21 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

He is actually the fourth player in NBA history in the ranking of triple doubles:

  1. Oscar Robertson: 181
  2. Magic Johnson: 138
  3. Jason Kidd: 107
  4. Russell Westbrook: 98

Rockets and Pelicans are currently in the middle of a 17-game winning streak, which is the longest winning streak in the NBA this season so far. It seems that getting Chris Paul into the team is paying off.

For those who want to look ahead, the Rockets are halfway to breaking the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers 33-game win streak record for the longest winning streak in NBA history; win No. 34 would come against the Lakers at Staples Center on April 10.

That record isn't the Rockets' goal, but there's no reason to dismiss the possibility. After all, Houston is a ridiculous 34-1 when Harden, Paul and center Clint Capela all play, with the lone loss coming by a two-point margin to the New Orleans Pelicans.

We didn’t give Lonzo Ball a break when he couldn’t find the bucket at the beginning of the season. Hell, it wouldn’t how big he is or who his father is: anyone who had the shooting start Ball did would get chewed apart.

But since returning from a strained MCL that sidelined him more than a month, the No. 2 overall pick has made 14 of his last 22 three-point attempts. An incredible 63.6 percent.

On Saturday, the rookie guard became the first player in Lakers history to make six threes and dish out 11 assists in the same game.

Below, his performance in the last 5 games:

Mar-03 @SAS:64
Mar-01 @MIA:46
Feb-26 @ATL:44
Feb-23 @DAL:30
Jan-13 @DAL:33

For only 6.4 M, it seems Lonzo Ball deserves to be in your fantasy team.

0-10. This is the current Grizzlies streak (the biggest losing streak at the moment). Even so, this is not the longest losing streak they had).
Everything seemed fine when they started 5-1, including wins over the Warriors and Rockets (2 victories against them).

Then Conley's injure came, and everything turned to dust with an incredible 13-30 streak.

Current results qualify them for the third-wost record in the West. It seems a team under reconstruction and they might be getting a top-five fick in the next draft, but some key/veteran players such as Marc Gasol are not happy with the situation.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Gasol voiced his frustrations with the team's play lately. Via The Commercial Appeal:

"It's not about somebody playing well or getting your reps or developing players. Because we have a league for that. We have a league and a team here in Memphis to develop guys. This is the NBA, not the G League."

Really harsh comment, indeed.

It seems that Gasol's terms with Fizdale are not in a good shape, and this might mean him missing some games in the season.

Below our top 5 ranking of the players with a best performance last 30 days:

5a971b40df11f.png

Anthony Davis is killing it not only being the best performer but also improving a lot his average. No doubt this has something to do with Cousins injury. Demarcus would be probably be in this list if he was healthy.

On the other side of the equation......there are some players that should just not be owned at all.

<adsense publisher="ca-pub-7545834093169970" slot="7385985256" format="auto" layout="in-article"></adsense>

For instance, Carmelo Anthony. He does not have anything to prove at this stage as a player, but the truth is that this year he sucks in this game. At a price of 7,208,113 $, an average of 24 fantasy points seems just not enough. His last five games:

Feb-26 @ORL:22
Feb-24 @GSW:18
Feb-22 @SAC:33
Feb-14 @MEM:22
Feb-13 @CLE:36

Carmelo, really? Come on man....

Another case that can mean some coach crying in desperation is Brook Lopez. He costs 6,681,698 $ and is having an average of 21 fantasy points and ruinning his previous figures.

If you have this sort of players on your roster, do not wonder you go down on the rankings.....

An MRI exam Saturday revealed that Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star guard Jimmy Butler injured the meniscus in his right knee.

The team stopped short of calling the injury a tear, and coach Tom Thibodeau said he didn't want to speculate on a timetable for Butler's return. Still, the news Saturday could've been worse for the organization, which feared a season-ending torn ligament after Butler had to be helped off the floor Friday night in a loss at Houston.

"The big thing is ruling out the ACL, that would've been an extended amount of time, so we're hopeful that it's not too long," Thibodeau said.
Butler was injured Friday night at Houston during the third quarter and had to be carried off the court by a pair of teammates. The Timberwolves lost 120-102 to the Rockets and Butler had the MRI exam on Saturday at Mayo Clinic.

In his first season with the Timberwolves, Butler has helped lead the team to the thick of the Western Conference playoff race, averaging 22.2 points a game. The team was in fourth place before play Saturday as it tries to end a 13-year absence from the playoffs.
"Knowing Jimmy, he's a very quick healer and obviously as tough a player as there is in this game, so I'm sure he'll do everything to get himself back where he can help his team in the playoffs," said Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg, who coached Butler for two seasons in Chicago before the Bulls traded him to Minnesota last June..

It is time to remove him from your fantasy teams.

After Warriors victory 112-80 over Oklahoma, the debate about Zaza Pachulia being a dirty played was reopened.

Zaza Pachulia has a history of being involved in questionable incidents, including the closeout on Kawhi Leonard in Game 1 of last year's Western Conference finals that ended Leonard's season.

During third quarter of the Warriors' 112-80 victory, Russell Westbrook drove to the basket and got tangled with Nick Young while battling for the rebound. Both players fell to the floor. A moment later, Pachulia entered the picture and came crashing down on Westbrook’s legs.

According to Westbrook, this was no accident:
"Obviously it was intentional," Westbrook said after the game. "Nobody touched him, he fell over my leg. He tried to hurt me. But hey, that's how it goes."
Asked if he thought was Pachulia a dirty player, Westbrook said "Yeah. For sure."

Paul George echoed Westbrook's assessment: "He aimed where he was going to fall. That's Zaza making a Zaza play."

Westbrook and Pachulia have tangled before. Last season the two collided near center court in a Jan. 18 game at The Oracle. Pachulia was assessed a Flagrant 1 foul, but the lasting image was Pachulia standing over Westbrook.
